Creative workshops for children at Art of Aid Center in Dnipro create space for support and development
Creative workshops for children are regularly held at the “Art of Aid” Center for Protection, Support, and Adaptation of IDPs in Dnipro. Every Thursday, the Center becomes a space filled with children’s laughter, creativity, and meaningful interaction. Participants draw, create their own crafts, experiment with different materials, and spend time in a safe and supportive environment.
These sessions are part of psychosocial support for children who have experienced displacement and the impacts of war. Through creative activities, children can express their emotions, reduce stress, and gradually restore a sense of safety. Equally important is the opportunity for social interaction - being among peers, communicating, and simply being children despite difficult life circumstances.
The workshops also provide an important moment of relief for parents, who can take time to rest or attend to personal matters, knowing their children are in a safe and caring space.
The workshops are implemented in partnership with the charitable foundation “Posmishka UA”, allowing us to expand opportunities for children and introduce diverse activity formats. Together, we create a space where every child can feel supported, seen, and accepted.
For our team, these sessions are not only about leisure but about recovery - a process through which children gradually regain a sense of stability, trust, and joy.
We invite parents to follow announcements of upcoming activities in our Telegram channel and join future sessions.
