We invite displaced women from Luhansk and Donetsk regions to join the project “Hear the East”
Do you want your voice to be heard?
The team of NGO “Art of Aid” is launching the preparation of a video story series as part of the “Hear the East” project, supported by the Vidnova Lab program. We are looking for women who were forced to leave their homes in eastern Ukraine (Luhansk and Donetsk regions) and now live in Dnipro or Dnipropetrovsk oblast.
This project is not about weakness - it is about strength: the experience of displacement, the fight for a dignified life, starting from scratch, mutual support, and female resilience.
It can be your personal story of loss, strength, and adaptation. Or the story of your initiative/profession/etc., if you support others, help the community, or create new meaning. 💡 If you're ready to share your story - we invite you to take part in the initiative!
This is more than just a video. It is part of an awareness campaign that will draw the attention of humanitarian organizations, donors, government representatives, and the wider public to the challenges internally displaced women face - and the solutions they are already building.
We guarantee respect, an ethical approach, and warm communication. Filming will take place in a safe space with a professional team.
What will you gain in return?
– An opportunity to share your story with a wide audience;
– Greater visibility for the voices of internally displaced women in the public discourse;
– A chance to draw the attention of humanitarian organizations, donors, and authorities to the real challenges and needs of displaced women;
– A ready-to-use video and social media content featuring your story;
– Full support from our team throughout the process.
We want to create space for those whose voices are rarely heard - but whose experiences are crucial to understanding what a just recovery for Ukraine truly means.
